NQ64 came to us to help guide their expansion across new venue sites and lead the creation and build of their new website.
They started in a small basement site in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and now has 12 sites across 9 cities.
We were tasked with creating an engaging digital experience for the group, that brings to life the feeling of being in one of their venues but also allows each individual site to have its own customisable online destination.
We created a UI toolkit based on retro gaming, and created interactive elements that hark back to the classic arcade machines and dialled up the nostalgia and energy that fills the NQ64 bars. Think bouncing, gradient filled arrows and shoot ‘em up styled crosshair cursor takeovers.
With the group being a multi-location offering we designed and created the website with a fully-editable modular system built on CMS that allows each individual venue to tailor their site to their own specific requirements. Whether that's hero-ing different arcade machines, venue USPs or food and drink selections.
The website is fully responsive and also features a fully integrated booking system.
